Manny Hendrix Jr
Manny Hendrix Jr brings a playing and coaching career of rare depth to Ivanhoe Edge — from 1st Team All-State honours in Utah and All-American recognition in the U.S. college system, to two Big V MVP titles, Defensive Player of the Year, and scoring champion in Australia. But Manny’s impact has always extended beyond his own accolades. Over the past decade he has mentored hundreds of athletes, placed over 40 players in U.S. high schools and colleges, and partnered with Nike, Healing Minds, and Australian Catholic University to deliver holistic support for young athletes. At Edge, that same comprehensive approach shapes everything he does — from footwork and conditioning to mental resilience, decision-making, and the belief that the habits built in training determine how far an athlete can go.

DANCE COACHES
Our dance program blends elite technique with creativity and performance, nurturing students who move with purpose, confidence, and a genuine love for the art.
Anna Tetlow
Anna Tetlow believes the mind and body are one — and that movement, at its best, is an expression of both. Trained at the Royal Ballet School in London and forged across six international ballet companies including Birmingham Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet, and K Ballet in Japan, Anna brings a lifetime of discipline, artistry, and performance to her role at Ivanhoe Edge. As a movement specialist, adjudicator, and mentor, she works with students across dance and sport to refine technique, build mental and physical self-awareness, and foster the consistency and presence that underpin genuine excellence — creating a space where every student is supported at their own level and equipped with tools that last well beyond their school years.
Kristy Davis
Kristy Davis believes dance is about more than perfecting technique — it’s about building confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of movement. Trained at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and shaped by over two decades of performance and teaching, Kristy’s career spans international touring, television across Channels 7, 9, and 10, and performances alongside Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, and Kylie Minogue. She currently teaches ballet at The Australian Ballet School, coaches at Merinda Calisthenics College, and is completing a degree in Psychological Science specialising in sports psychology — a combination that gives her a rare ability to support students both technically and mentally. At Edge, her sessions weave together stretch and strength, skill-building, and choreography, with students actively involved in shaping their own experience from the music up.

At Edge, Jo’s focus extends well beyond technique — she’s committed to developing Tennis IQ, building players who can think strategically, adapt under pressure, and make smart decisions at any level of competition. Her coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that tennis is a powerful platform for building character, and that the confidence, respect, and resilience developed on court stay with students long after they leave it.
